Hasid upholds the high humanitarian values in his poetry. His poetry voices the criticism of the political folly of the partition that has rendered Sindhi literature in India rootless. The readers are able to hear the echoes of the great Indus valley civilization in his poems he represents the fractured consciousness of the Sindhi community that has suffered the agony and pain of the ill-thought-out decision of partition. He times, he laments the alienation of modern man both from culture and society. His poetry is characterized by cultural consciousness.
